Francis M. Hunsberger, 72, Warsaw, passed away at 8:53 a.m. Sept. 10, 2015, in Lutheran Hospital, Fort Wayne.
He was born March 15, 1943, in Fryburg, Pa., to Richard and Velma Boyles Hunsberger. On Nov. 22, 1969, in Newport, he was united in marriage to Judy Ann Myers, who survives in Warsaw.
He was a veteran of the United States Army, serving from 1961 to 1963. He retired from Osborn Manufacturing of Warsaw. He attended Warsaw Wesleyan Church.
Also surviving are a sister, Audine McAfoose, Silver Lake; a brother, Glenn Hunsberger, Pennsylvania; three children: Joe Hunsberger and Toni VanDyke, both of Warsaw; and Kitty Ellis, Perryville, Mo.; six grandchildren, Sidney, Michael, Chris, Adam, Kayla and Britany; and eight great-grandchildren, Madison, Sidney, Garrett, Jonathan, Chloe, Makayla, Aubrey and Trey Joseph. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Richard and Joseph, and a sister, Rose Hollobaugh.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Warsaw Wesleyan Church, with Pastors Jarod Osborne and his grandson, Pastor Michael Ellis, officiating. Burial with military honors will be in Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw.
Calling is from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Monday in McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw.
