Frances M. Shriver, 87, of Warsaw, died at 3:07 p.m. Nov. 22, 2009, in Kosciusko Community Hospital, Warsaw.

She was born July 11, 1922, in Monequet, to Ruth Parks and Albert Heckman. On July 11, 1942, she married Charles Shriver, who died Aug. 17, 2009.

A lifetime Kosciusko County area resident, she was a 1940 Atwood High School graduate and retired from Zimmer in 1987. She was a past member of Clunette Methodist Church and Warsaw Trinity Church. She was a member and past president of Warsaw Elks Auxiliary and past member of Moose and American Legion Post 49 Auxiliary. She enjoyed camping in Brown County and loved dancing and listening to Frank and the Hy Times.

Surviving are a son, Rick Shriver, Warsaw; a daughter, Debbie (and spouse Bob) Sharp, Nappanee; three grandchildren: Kimberly Shriver, Fishers; Joshua (and spouse Ngoc) Sharp, Goshen; and Jason (and spouse Jennifer) Begley, Gilbert, Ariz.; a brother, Stanley Heckman, Harrison, Mich.; and five great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Jodi Shriver, and a brother.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw, with Pastor Tom Schiefer officiating. Burial will be in Leesburg Cemetery.

Calling is from 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
