Apparently Fox "News" is looking for a new slogan. You see we have recently been informed of the fact that Fox "News" is actually contributing money to the GOP. At last we can no longer ignore "that man behind the curtain." The charade of fair and balanced reporting has been exposed. The campaign contribution is the first honest thing Fox news has done in years. At least they now openly put their money where their collective mouth is. And what many have stated which is that Fox "News" is nothing more than the propaganda wing of the GOP has been confirmed. Perhaps the slogan should be "it's the truth if you believe it".

But the story gets better. Just when you thought the level of GOP hypocrisy could not be topped I now give you the latest faux controversy, The Mosque at Ground Zero. Doesn't that sound scary? I for one could not care less about this non issue. With the economy struggling to recover from GOP negligence and two expensive GOP inspired wars, this is the issue that the GOP talking heads and their allies in the Tea Party Movement want to focus on. But what intrigues me is the fact that a political party who is constantly throwing the states' rights issue in our faces is actually interfering with this New York State urban development project. This project is for the people of New York State to decide. Not carpet baggers whose only interest in the project is the ability to gain political points by rallying the intolerant religious bigots of their base. With non New Yorker Mrs. Sarah "I read all the magazines" Palin and another non New Yorker Newt "It doesn't matter what I do is what I say" Gingrich interfering in quite honestly business that is not theirs, it goes to show that their lust for power has no bound nor scruples. But wait it gets even better.

For the last few months the usual suspect, Fox "News", has been revving up the religious bigotry by focusing on The Ground Zero Mosque which by the way is neither a mosque nor at ground zero. But once again Fox "News" will not let the facts get in the way of a good story. Fox "News" hosts like Beck, Hannity, and O'Reilly with their GOP talking head guests have been crying out for this project to end since it was first announced. Yet they remain silent on the issue of aiding the Ground Zero first responders who have now taken ill from hazardous conditions they were exposed to while doing their duty. But hey the GOP now considers these guys a special interest group who needs no compassion from America. And as the debate over the non issue continues an interesting fact was recently revealed.

On Fox "News" a right-wing talking head tried to show us who was behind the funding of "the mosque". They referred to a man whose financial contribution to assist in the recovery of Ground Zero was rejected by then Mayor Giuliani because of shady ties to organizations sympathetic to terror. This same man financially supports Imam Rauf, the man behind the "mosque". It turns out the man they were referring to was Saudi prince Al-Waleed bin Talal, one of the co-owners of Rupert Murdoch's News Corp. So if we follow the money trail, if you watch Fox "News" you are indirectly funding terror.
