Bruce and Betty Fotter, Warsaw, announce the engagement of their daughter, Lydia Ann Fotter, Pensacola, Fla., to Bart Gibson Sipes, Pensacola. He is the son of Bert and Kathy Sipes, Kalispell, Mont.
The bride-to-be is a receptionist and campus announcements coordinator at Pensacola Christian College. She is a 2001 graduate of Community Baptist Christian Schoos, South Bend. She attended Pensacola Christian College, where she graduated cum laude with an associate's degree in office systems in 2004 and a bachelor's degree in office administration in 2006.
The groom-elect is employed in the information technology department at Pensacola Christian College. He is a 2002 homeschool graduate. He attended Pensacola Christian College, where he graduated cum laude with a bachelor's degree in computer science in 2006. He currently attends the University of West Florida, where he is pursuing a master's degree in computer science.
The couple plan an Aug. 8 wedding.
