Forrest R. "Bud" Baugher, 78, of Warsaw, died at 12:55 a.m. March 13, 2008, in Lutheran Hospital, Fort Wayne.

He was born June 6, 1929, in Warsaw, to Forrest W. and Pearl Buell Baugher. On May 28, 1954, in Warsaw, he married Betty Vanator, who survives.

He was an expeditor at Zimmer Inc. for 28 years, retiring in June 1991, and was a U.S. Army veteran.

Surviving are three daughters, Deb (and spouse Randy) Miller and Linda (and spouse Kim) Grindle, both of Warsaw, and Pam (and spouse Ron) Skinner, Mancos, Colo.; five grandchildren: Eric, Lynnae, Krysta, Rob and Lisa; two great-grandchildren, Emily and Karter; a brother, Jack (and spouse Velma) Baugher, Warsaw; and two sisters, Eleanor (and spouse John) Craig, Warsaw, and Lucille Smith, Michigan. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Donald E. Baugher, who died March 23, 1987, and Harold Baugher; and a sister, Maxine Kirsch.

A graveside service will be private in Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw, with the Rev. Bruce Barlow officiating.

Calling is from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday at Titus Funeral Home, Warsaw.
