WABASH – Forrest Lee Miller, 80, of rural Wabash, died at 6:55 p.m. May 20, 2012, in Wabash County Hospital.

He was born Dec. 26, 1931, in Petersburg, to Glenn M. and Merle Myers Miller. On April 4, 1950, in Oakland City, he married Ruth Corn, who survives.

He was a 1950 graduate of Oakland City High School and was a U.S. Marine Corp veteran. He retired from Brown Trucking, Wabash, owned Wabash Valley Moving and Storage for several years and was a volunteer driver for American Veterans. He was an active member and elder of Dora Christian Church and a member of the Teamsters Union.

Also surviving are four children: Vicki (and spouse Okie) Howell, Silver Lake; Rick (and spouse Susan) Miller,   Lagro; Randall Lee Miller and Debbie (and spouse Brad) Frieden, all of Wabash; nine grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a brother and a sister.

Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday at Grandstaff-Hentgen Funeral Service, Wabash, with Mark Wisniewski officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Lawns Cemetery, Wabash.

Calling is from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
