He was born Oct. 9, 1943, to William and Pearlie Prater Hall in Prestonsburg, Ky. On Nov. 6, 1962, at Barbee Lake he married Mary Ellen Miller, who preceded him in death.
He was a lifetime resident of Kosciusko County. He retired from Kosciusko County REMC, where he worked in maintenance. He was of the Baptist faith. He loved to farm, helping others and spending his time with his grandchildren.
Surviving are two daughters, Sandra K. (and spouse Jeff) Webb, Fort Wayne, and Brenda (and spouse Allen) Charles, Claypool; two sons, Kenneth Ray Hall, Claypool, and Steven Jay Hall, Silver Lake; a brothers, Frank (and spouse Mary) Hall, Warsaw; two sisters, Mary (and spouse Carl) Kendrick, Warsaw, and Naoma Wagner, Sidney; nine grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers, one sister and one grandson.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw, with Pastor Glenn E. Hall of Harvest Community Church officiating. Burial is in Sidney Cemetery.
Calling is from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
