Floyd Gene Reffitt, 78, Warsaw, went home to be with the Lord at 3:30 p.m. Nov. 12, 2014, in Warsaw Meadows Care Center.
He was born July 4, 1936, in Floyd County, Ky., to Dan and Martha Marsillet Reffitt. On Sept. 17, 1955, he married Anna Belle Reffitt, who died Aug. 20, 2013.
He was the youngest boy of 13 children. He loved having his family around him. He also enjoyed fishing and hunting. He retired from Zimmer in 1997.
He is survived by his three children: William “Danny” (and spouse Roxana) Reffitt and Lydia Sue (and spouse Dale) Manns, all of Warsaw; and Cathy (and spouse Kris) Rapholtz, Akron; two grandchildren, April (and spouse Darin) Tudor, Pierceton, and Trina (and spouse Robert) Springer, Warsaw; one great-grandchild, Joseph Springer; and a sister, Josephine Yates, Warsaw. He was preceded in death by two children, Diana Beavers and Floyd Gene Reffitt Jr.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw, with Pastors William Whitaker and Terry Bradford officiating. Burial is in Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw.
Calling is from 2 to 4 p.m. and from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral chapel.
