Floyd Devon Walters, 85, of Claypool, died at 8:30 p.m. April 20, 2007, at Miller's Merry Manor, Warsaw.

He was born He was born Sept. 20, 1921, in Rochester, to Russell E. and Arlean Marie Norris Walters. On Dec. 21, 1945, he married Kathryn Naomi Green, who died May 13, 2004.

He was a farmer and also worked at Union Tool Factory, Warsaw. He was a lifetime resident of Kosciusko County and a member of KOSCO Kampers Klub, Warsaw.

Survivors include a son, Dale (and wife Verdella) Walters, Warsaw; two daughters: Mrs. Dave (Margaret) Munson and Mrs. Paul (Pam) Lackey, both of Warsaw; six grandchildren; seven step-grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; and a sister, LaVera Utter, Rochester. In addition to his wife, he was preceded in death by one brother and one sister.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Titus Funeral Home, Warsaw., with the Rev. Mark Zerkel officiating. Burial will be in Palestine Cemetery.

Calling is from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
