BOURBON – Florence Faulkner, 89, Bourbon, and formerly of Atwood, passed away at 12:40 a.m. Oct. 8, 2013, in Miller’s Merry Manor Nursing Home, Plymouth.
She was born April 12, 1924, in Bremen, to Arthur C. and Mabel May Mitchel. On Oct. 6, 1942, she married Warren G. Faulkner, who died Sept. 17, 2010.
She was a graduate of Bremen High School in the class of 1942. She worked at the telephone office, J.C. Penney, Plymouth, and at Weiland Design of Goshen where she supervised sewing. She also was a member of the Winnebago Club.
 Surviving are three daughters, Sharon (and spouse Larry) Lemler, Bourbon; Connie (and spouse Jerry) Lozier, Tippecanoe; Jackie (and spouse James) White, Hunt, Texas; and son Terry (and spouse Bev) Faulkner, Winona Lake; she was further blessed with eight grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. Also preceding her in death were her mother who died in 1931, and step-mother, Gladys Soales Mitchel.
There will be no services at this time. A private family burial ceremony will be in Sand Ridge Cemetery, Bourbon.
Deaton Clemens Funeral Home is entrusted with arrangements.
