NAPPANEE - Florence A. Hepler Fleck, 88, of 300 W. Washington St., Wakarusa, died at 4:50 a.m. May 12, 2010, in Miller's Merry Manor, Wakarusa, after living there for four years.

She was born May 4, 1922, in Kosciusko County, to Fred O. and Mary Louise Mays Hepler. On June 29, 1963, she married Richard Fleck, who died July 11, 1988.

She was a Nappanee resident until moving to Goshen in the '60s. She graduated from Etna Green High School and retired from CTS Corp., Elkhart, and was a homemaker.

Surviving are two sisters, Ruth (and spouse Merlin) Yoder, and Donnabelle (and spouse Edward) Monhaut, all of Nappanee; five brothers: Eldon Hepler, Jacksonville, Fla.; Allen (and spouse Marge) Hepler, South Bend; Willard "Bill" Hepler, Nappanee; Richard (and spouse Marlene) Hepler, Apache Junction, Ariz.; and Russell (and spouse Ardala) Hepler, LaGrange. She was preceded in death by a brother.

Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Thompson-Lengacher & Yoder Funeral Home, Nappanee, with the Rev. Russell Helper officiating. Burial will be in Oakridge Cemetery, Goshen.

Calling is from 2 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
