Fire Crews Return to Scene of Shed Fire

July 28, 2016 at 4:25 p.m.

PIERCETON – Fire crews from Pierceton and Sidney returned to the scene of a shed fire Thursday, where previously in the week a grass fire went out of control.
Crews responded to 3773 E. CR 500S shortly after 3:30 p.m. where a shed was on fire, next to a 500-gallon tank containing propane. The tank was secured by fire crews but the shed, along with bikes, a scooter and lawnmower that were inside the shed all were a total loss.
Monday, fire crews responded to the same location after the residents were burning brush, and the fire got out of control.
No one was home at the time Thursday.
The cause of the fire is under investigation, aided by Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department due to meth-related paraphernalia found nearby.[[In-content Ad]]
