The market, a part of the Kosciusko County community for almost 35 years, is open Mondays and Wednesdays from 2:30 to 5 p.m. and Saturdays from 8 a.m. to noon. Scott said the market has thrived this year with a growing number of vendors selling fresh fruits, vegetables, flowers, beef, pork, eggs, baked goods, maple syrup and plants. All produce sold at the market is grown or raised in Kosciusko County.
Scott said current big sellers at the market include tomatoes, sweet corn, peaches and apples. Scott also said some fall favorites, including pumpkins, are beginning to show up at the farmers market.
The closing date for this year's market is Oct. 29.
