NAPPANEE - Fannie F. Slabaugh, 100, of 6121 W. CR 1350N, Nappanee, died at 5:25 p.m. Dec. 18, 2010, in Bremen Community Hospital.

She was born Jan. 24, 1910, in Marshall County, to Andrew N. and Katie Yoder Slabaugh. On Nov. 17, 1929, she married Harvey Farmwald, who died in October 1938. On Dec. 20, 1964, she married Edward T. Slabaugh, who died May 14, 1974.

A lifetime area resident, she was a homemaker and worked at Libby's Sauerkraut Factory, Nappanee. She was a member of Old Order Amish Church.

Surviving are two sons, Oliver (and spouse Viola) Farmwald, Nappanee, and Andrew (and spouse Linda) Farmwald, Milford; two daughters, Dorothy (and spouse Jack) Tobias and Mary Yoder, all of Nappanee; 12 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren; four stepsons, Allen (and spouse Tressie) Slabaugh, Larry (and spouse Katie) Slabaugh and Dale (and spouse Ina) Slabaugh, all of Nappanee, and Glenn (and spouse Enid) Slabaugh, Goshen; four stepdaughters, Erma (and spouse Loren) Troyer, Eleanor (and spouse Jay) Peachey and Kay (and spouse Dale) Schertz, all of Nappanee, and Mary Ellen (and spouse Joni) Beachy, Bremen; 31 step-grandchildren; 83 step-great-grandchildren; six step-great-great-grandchildren; and three sisters, Inez (and spouse Roy) Helmuth and Cora Martin, all of Goshen, and Wilma (and spouse Jesse) Hochstetler, Nappanee. She was preceded in death by five sisters and two brothers.

A memorial service will be at 7 p.m. today at Thompson-Lengacher & Yoder Funeral Home, Nappanee, with the Rev. Tom Schiefer officiating, and a service will be at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday at the Ron Miller residence at 8919 W. CR 1350N, with Home Ministry officiating. Burial will be in Weldy Cemetery.

Calling is from 4 to 7 p.m. today at the funeral home and after 10 a.m. Tuesday at the Miller residence.
