BOURBON - Riding a two-game winning streak, the John Glenn Falcons flew into Bourbon to take on Triton. The Falcons were impressive in all aspects of the game, defeating the Trojans 34-15.

Chris Patton threw two touchdown passes and recovered a fumble in the endzone to lead the Falcons. Reggie Davis then ran around the end and scampered 41 yards to the 17-yard line. Four plays later, Troy McIntyre's pass was intercepted in the endzone by the Falcon defense.

The Falcons immediately went to work on the Triton defense and used an 11-play drive and drove 81 yards to score a touchdown when Patton hit Adam Campbell for a 16-yard pass.

"You have to give credit to the Falcons they are a good football team. They have some good players on that team. They just beat us," Triton coach Rodney Younis said."

Conrad Schubert of John Glenn continuously ran through Triton's defense. At times it took several Trojan players to bring him down. Schubert finished the game with 148 yards on 16 carries.

"Schubert is a great back. We knew we would have trouble containing him coming in to tonight's game," Younis said.

Triton went into the locker room down 14-0 after Patton threw his second touchdown pass, this time hitting Michael Fansier from eight yards out.

Triton took its second drive of the half methodically down the field, highlighted by a Davis 52-yard run. The drive was capped on a seven-yard run around the right end. Tyler Borsa's extra point attempt was good to bring the Trojans within seven.

"I told the guys on that drive that we needed to score quickly to get us back into the game. I believe we played more toe-to-toe with them in the second half," Younis said.

The Falcons drove 68 yards in four plays to pull ahead 20-7 going into the fourth quarter. Schuber ran 60 yards on one carry in the drive.

Triton would never bring the game any closer. The Falcons' defense scored early in the fourth to put the game away.

Ben Walbert stripped the ball from Chad Ulmer and ran 31 yards to the 1-yard line and he fumbled the ball into the end zone. Patton jumped on the ball to give the Falcons the touchdown.

"Our defense made some mistakes tonight and that just put us in a hole. The secondary forgot to play zone a few times and John Glenn was able to complete several passes in the first half. Fourtanetly all of our mistakes are fixable and we will get better," Younis said.

Triton had four turnovers in the game. The Trojans threw one interception and had three fumbles - one in which Triton fumbled on the following kickoff after the fumble recovery score in the endzone, which led to the Falcon's last touchdown.

With the win, Glenn improved to 3-2 overall and 3-1 in the Northern State Conference, while Triton fell to 2-3 and 1-2.
