SYRACUSE - Evelyn L. Bowser, 91, of North Webster, died at 8:05 a.m. Aug. 26, 2007, at Kosciusko Community Hospital, Warsaw.

She was born April 22, 1916, in North Webster, to Clarence E. and Elsie E. Weimer Lewellen. On May 23, 1935, in Warsaw, she married George Deverl Bowser, who died Feb. 5, 1986.

She was a lifetime resident of North Webster and graduated from North Webster High School in 1934. She was a homemaker and co-owner/operator of Bowser Poultry Farm in North Webster for many years. She was a member of North Webster Church of God, Just Older Youth Senior Citizens, Hi Neighbor Club and Efficient Homemakers Club, all of North Webster.

Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Gerald (Margaret Ann) Oswalt, Warsaw; three sons: Douglas Bowser and Terry Bowser, both of North Webster, and Roger Bowser, Indianapolis; 18 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; nine step-greatgrandchildren; and 14 great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a great-grandson and two brothers.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the North Webster Church of God with Pastor Jeff Boyer officiating. Burial will be in North Webster Cemetery Mock Addition.

Calling is from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Owen Family Funeral Home, Syracuse.
