Evelyn Canzoneri, 85, died at 12:10 a.m. Jan. 8, 2013, at Peabody Retirement Community, North Manchester, where she resided.
She was born Nov. 25, 1927, in Custer, Wis., to Ben and Gertrude Ropella Zeromski. On April 15, 1950, in Chicago, Ill., she married Joseph Canzoneri, who died Feb. 5, 2011.
She moved from Chicago to North Manchester. She was a clerk for the state of Illinois Bureau of Motor Vehicles. She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Warsaw.
Surviving are a daughter, Linn C. (and spouse Henry Buikema) Eisen-Buikema, Naples, Fla. She was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Joseph M. Canzoneri, who died May 31, 2001; and a sister-in-law, Carmela Canzoneri, who died May 10, 2008.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Warsaw, with Father Phil DeVolder, Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Warsaw, officiating. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery, River Grove, Ill.
No calling is planned.
Titus Funeral Home, Warsaw, is in charge of arrangements.
