Eva Viola Griffith, 63, of 3762 W. Old 30, Warsaw, died at 10:10 a.m. March 2, 2007, in Miller's Merry Manor, Warsaw.

She was born Jan. 9, 1944, in Warsaw, to Elmer and Thelda Wise Gunter.

A lifetime Warsaw and Claypool resident, she was a retired missionary to Israel and Beijing, China. She was a 1962 Claypool High School graduate and attended Grace College, Winona Lake.

Surviving are a daughter, Letrecia "Trish" Brown, Warsaw; two sons, Erich (and wife Jennifer) Griffith, Warsaw, and Trevor (and wife Milisa) Griffith, Claypool; five brothers: Doyle Gunter, Claypool; Richard Gunter, Kississimee, Fla.; Kenneth and Marvin Gunter, both of Warsaw; and Herb Gunter, North Manchester; and four grandchildren, Kent and Quinn Brown, both of Warsaw, and Trent and Cassie Griffith, both of Claypool. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Gordon and Donald Gunter.

Services will be at 6 p.m. Tuesday at McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw, with Father Matt Gunter officiating. Burial will be in Mount Pleasant Cemetery, Claypool.

Calling is from 3 to 6 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
