Eva Marie Baldridge, 77, Claypool, passed away at 7:35 a.m. April 26, 2014, in Grace Village Health Care, Winona Lake.
She was born Nov. 8, 1936, in Prestonsburg, Ky., to Jimmie and Lisha Ousley Reffitt. On June 30, 1954, in Prestonsburg, she married Andrews “A.J.” Jack Baldridge, who preceded her in death.
She was a 27-year employee of Peabody Inc., North Manchester, as a supervisor in facilities management, retiring in 1999. She was a resident of Sidney since 1964 and formerly of Prestonsburg. She was a member of Faith Fellowship Pentecostal Church of Sidney.
Surviving are five children: Phyllis (and spouse Tim) Evans, Disko; Gary (and spouse Merry) Baldridge and Stan (and spouse Karen) Baldridge, all of Sidney; Jack Baldridge, Mentone; Reece Morrison; Pierceton; a sister, Juanita (and spouse Paul) Bradford, Silver Lake; two brothers, Gorman “Tommy” and Ray Reffitt, both of Pierceton; 20 grandchildren; 45 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild. She was also preceded in death by two sons, Paul Edward and Charles Baldridge; a daughter, Darlene Harper; and a brother, Corbin Reffitt.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw, with Pastor Terry Bradford officiating. Burial is in Sidney Cemetery.
Calling is from 2 to 4 p.m. and from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
