The next step in the process is to begin working on maps to draw up zoning division lines.
A motion was approved to request accounting firm Umbaugh and Associates to track the profit and loss of electric rates. Town officials said this ensures greater accuracy in the electric payments and billing.
A motion was approved to give two building permits and one variance to Eric Waggoner for changes on his property. He plans to open Waggoner's Greenhouse.
Letters will be sent out requesting specific residents to clean up their property before the Memorial Day parade.
The town council announced Etna Green's tax rate was received from the state with an increase of $0.089 to $0.4772.
The town's budget was received and all was approved with the exception of general funding, which was cut to $2,288.[[In-content Ad]]
