Amos E. and Phyllis K. England, Pierceton, will mark their 50th wedding anniversary May 16, 2009. The couple were married May 16, 1959, in Flora, with the Rev. Duncan McNabb officiating the double-ring ceremony.

He retired from Jomac Products in Warsaw in 1999, and she retired from Kimble Glass, Warsaw, in 2005.

The couple have five children: Cindy Marie England Martin, David Wesley England and Amy Reneé England, all of Warsaw; Dawn Kay England McClellan, Tiosa; and Brian Fay England, Wrightsville, Pa.

The couple will celebrate the anniversary with an open house hosted by their children May 17 from 2 to 5 p.m. at the Claypool Lions Building. Friends and relatives are invited to attend, and no gifts are requested.[[In-content Ad]]

County Commissioners Say ‘No’ To Rezoning For Data Center
A data center won’t be coming to the Leesburg area anytime soon. By a 3-0 vote Tuesday, the Kosciusko County Commissioners upheld the Area Plan Commission’s 8-0 recommendation to deny rezoning over 500 acres from agricultural to industrial-3. The property is on the north side of CR 700N, west of CR 300W, in Prairie and Jefferson townships.
