Emelia Friebel, 90, of Grace Village Retirement Community, Winona Lake, died at noon Aug. 14, 2015, in her residence.
She was born May 23, 1925, in Streeter, N.D., to Jacob and Anna Graf Schmidt. On July 3, 1955, in Panama, she married Curt Edmund August Friebel, who died in 1990.
No services or calling are planned. A private burial will be in Mansion Memorial Park, Ellenton, Fla.
Arrangements are entrusted to Redpath-Fruth Funeral Home, Warsaw.
