He was born Aug. 14, 1942, in Bloomington, to Elza and Mary Margaret Pelfry Sullivan. He married Sherry P. Ballantine, who survives.
He was a former security guard.
Also surviving are three sons: Justin Sullivan, Hi Hat; Tony Sullivan, Sullivan; Greg Sullivan, Paxton; two stepsons, Cory Huff, McDowell, Ky., and Chris Ballantine, Sturgis, Mich.; two daughters, Darla and Lisa Marie Sullivan, both of Paxton; a stepdaughter, Ashly Hough, Galeen, Tenn.; a brother, Douglas Sullivan, Warsaw; three sisters, Cindy Kellogg, Warsaw; Linda Durham, Brennen, Ohio; and Phyllis Workman, Bloomington; two grandchildren; and five step-grandchildren.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Pilgrim Rest Regular Baptist Church, Price, Ky., with Regular Baptist Ministers officiating. Burial will be in Greenbury Hall Cemetery, McDowell.
