SYRACUSE – Ella Dora Wogoman, 86, Syracuse, died at 1 p.m. May 6, 2011, at Miller’s Merry Manor, Syracuse.
She was born March 19, 1925, in LaGrange, to Norton and Delilah Wierick Campbell.
She was a lifetime Syracuse/Goshen area resident and graduated in 1943 from Goshen High School. On March 24, 1945, in Elkhart County, she married Rolland A. “Tubby” Wogoman, who preceded her in 1986.
She was formerly employed at Essex Wire, Ligonier, for 35 years and was a member of the American Legion and Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliaries, both in Syracuse.
She is survived by a son, Clifford L. (and spouse Shelby) Wogoman, Syracuse; three grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; three step-great-grandchildren; a sister, Helen Grover, Goshen; and a brother, Jim (and spouse Cartha) Campbell, Elkhart.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Monday at Owen Family Funeral Home, Syracuse, with Bruce Rookstool officiating. Burial will follow at Syracuse Cemetery.
Calling is from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
