ARGOS - Elizabeth Morris Bailey, 75, of 10904 Ind. 10, Argos, died at 1:01 a.m. Jan. 1, 2011, in Saint Joseph Regional Medical Center, Plymouth. She was in declining health for several years.

She was born June 30, 1935, in Morgan County, Ky., to Cletus and Alta Sargent Morris. She married David F. Wallace Sr. They were divorced later. She then married Clifford Bailey in Winchester, Ky., in 1984. They both preceded her in death.

She was a seamstress at Hart, Schaffner & Marx, Rochester, retiring after 28 years.

Surviving are four daughters, including Cathy (and spouse William) Martz, of Tippecanoe, and Sheri Becker, Leesburg; four sons: John (and spouse Judy) Wallace, Tippecanoe; David F. Wallace Jr., Bourbon; and Jesse J. Wallace and Donald L. (and spouse Judy) Wallace, all of Rochester; nine grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; a brother; three sisters; and a half brother. She was preceded in death by a son, two brothers, two sisters and a granddaughter.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Earl-Grossman Funeral Home, Argos, with Chaplin Tom Padberg officiating. Burial will be in Walnut Church of the Brethren Cemetery, Argos.

Calling is from 3 to 7 p.m. Tuesday and one hour prior to the service Wednesday at the funeral home.
