MOBILE, Ala. – Elizabeth “Betty” Moryne Weirick Lursen, Mobile, Ala., and formerly of Warsaw, died May 5, 2014. She was born to Marvin Dale and Elizabeth Kathleen Foxvog Weirick. She was blessed with 60 wonderful years of marriage to her loving husband, Charles “Fred,” who survives. Surviving are six children: Vincent Sr. (and spouse Ellen), Joseph (and spouse Dawn), Susan, Patrick (and spouse Renee) and Paulette Lursen; Moryne (and spouse Frank) Breckenridge; a sister, Barbara Landis, Warsaw; a brother, Norman Weirick, Warsaw; nine grandchildren: Vincent Jr. (and spouse Kit), Matthew, Christina, J.C., Kathleen, Michael, Mary Beth, Daniel and Samantha; nieces, nephews and other relatives. She was preceded in death by her parents. Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Little Flower Catholic Church. Calling is from 10 to 11 a.m. Friday at the church. ***** In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to Little Flower Catholic Church or to the American Heart Association.
