Eleanor Jane Zumbaugh, 87, of Warsaw, died at 12:15 p.m. Oct. 15, 2011, in Kosciusko Community Hospital, Warsaw.

She was born Nov. 18, 1923, in Bremen, to Edward F. and Estella R. Deisch Reed. On April 25, 1943, in Plymouth, she married Merl H. Zumbaugh, who preceded her in death.

She moved to Warsaw in 1954. She was an inspector for DaLite Screen for 32 years, retiring in 1991. She was a member of Walnut Creek United Methodist Church, Warsaw, and Quarter Century Club, DaLite Screen, Warsaw. She graduated from Tyner High School in 1941.

Survivors include a daughter, Sharon Miller, Warsaw; three grandchildren: Jason Zumbaugh, Edgerton; Tracy Ousley, Bourbon; Tina Miller, Leesburg; four great-grandchildren: Robert Chilton and Mason Ousley, both of Bourbon; and Taylor and Jacob Hurt, both of Leesburg. She was preceded in death by a brother, two sisters and one son.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw, with Pastor Steve Ailes officiating. Burial will be in Bremen Cemetery.

Calling is from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral chapel.
