He was born Sept. 5, 1916, in Leesburg, to Homer and Cora Thomas Ganshorn. On April 24, 1938, in Etna Green, he married Mabel I. Cain, who died Nov. 24, 2013.
Cremation will take place. Graveside services are being planned at a later date this summer at Stony Point Cemetery, south of Nappanee.
Arrangements are with Thompson-Lengacher & Yoder Funeral Home, Nappanee.
