The bride-to-be is a secretary with Travis Lee Discounts, Nappanee. She attended Triton High School and was an American Home School, Illinois, graduate in 2006.

The groom-elect is in quality controll and a manufacturer with Travis Lee Discounts, Elkhart. He attended NorthWood High School, Nappanee.

The couple plan a June 9 wedding.

Kathleen N. Anderson-Takacs, 84, of Pierceton, passed away on Wednesday, Nov. 20, 2024, at Lutheran Hospital of Fort Wayne. Kathy was born on Aug. 14, 1940, in Prestonsburg, Ky., to Darwin and Jane Gibson. On April 17, 2004, she married Bill Takacs in Gatlinburg, Tenn., who survives.
