Eight Face Drug Charges

Eight Kosciusko County residents were arrested on drug charges ranging from possession of paraphernalia to dealing cocaine Friday.

Members of the Kosciusko County Drug Task Force obtained warrants for the arrests of 13 people after months of investigations, some of which date back to August. Eight suspects were arrested with the warrants Friday, and five people are being sought on the remaining warrants.

Nelson Eugene Ringle II, 20, of 8280 E. U.S. 30, Lot 76, Pierceton, was arrested on charges of dealing cocaine more than three grams, a Class A felony. He is being held in the Kosciusko County Jail on a bond of $20,000.

Jodi Beth Torpy, 40, of 214 High St., Atwood, was charged with possession of cocaine less than three grams, a Class D felony. Her bond was set at $2,000.

Charges of dealing marijuana with a prior conviction, a Class D felony, were filed against Anthony W. Miller, 24, of 1692 E. CR 200N, Lot 37, Warsaw. He is being held on a $2,000 bond.

Richard Joseph Smith, 24, of 5475 N. Warsaw-Oswego Drive, Warsaw, was arrested on a charge of possession of marijuana, a Class A misdemeanor. He is being held on a $1,000 bond.

Billie Lynn Mireles, 30, of Women's Prison, Indianapolis, and Jessie Tackett, 21, of 312 Crystal Flash Road, Lot 40, North Webster, were charged with possession of marijuana, a Class A misdemeanor. Bonds for both were set at $750.

Kari Lynn Hughes, 26, and Korey Green, 27, both of 750 Wexford Place, Warsaw, were both arrested for alleged possession of paraphernalia, a Class C infraction. Both are being held on a $750 bond.

Police have warrants and are looking for five remaining individuals on the following charges:

• Jeremy A. Harter, 28, of 2624 Wayside Court, Warsaw, possession of marijuana, a Class A misdemeanor;

• Joshua J. Crawford, 20, of 125 EMS B20 Lane, Pierceton, dealing cocaine more than three grams, a Class A felony;

• Gary C. Yoder, 37, of 200 Pontiac St., Ligonier, dealing methamphetamine more than three grams, a Class A felony;

• Paul E. Prater, 66, of 3521 Lake City Highway, Room 125, Warsaw, dealing a schedule II drug, a Class B felony;

• Jon D. Hollingsworth, 39, of 6540 E. Old 30, Pierceton, dealing methamphetamine more than three grams, a Class A felony.
