Eight Arrested On Drug-Related Charges

Warsaw police responded to a complaint of possible drug activity at the Economy Inn Saturday at approximately 6:30 a.m. The anonymous caller reported the possible production of methamphetamine.
Officers arrived and did locate a working one-pot method lab and several items used in the production of methamphetamine. Indiana State Police Clandestine Lab Team secured the items and lab from the hotel room.
Kosciusko County Drug Task Force officers arrested Brandon James Karbach, 29, no address given; and Tiffany Page Anderson, 28, of 2441 W. CR 250S, Warsaw, on preliminary charges of manufacturing methamphetamine. Both Karbach's and Anderson's bonds were set at $10,000.
As officers were leaving the scene, they identified a passing motorist as Larry Ellis Konkle, 43, of 1108 Fisher Ave., Warsaw, who had an outstanding drug warrant.
Konkle was taken into custody in the parking lot at Walgreen's Pharmacy, 2400 E. Center St., Warsaw, shortly before noon and arrested on felony dealing a controlled substance within 1,000 feet of a school. Konkle's bond was set at $50,000.
The third drug arrest occurred today at approximately 5:30 a.m. after a report of individuals attempting to buy various amounts of pseudoephedrine from the Walgreen's Pharmacy on East Center Street.
Officers arrived and located five subjects inside a vehicle in the parking lot along with numerous items associated with methamphetamine production.
For possession of precursors, drug task force officers arrested Mark Edward Ratliff, 30, no address given; Cory Alan Glant, 26, of 1310 Rochester Road, Ligonier; Hayden Michael Simpson, 19, no address given; and Alan Cooley, 23, of 3757 N. CR 900W, Cromwell. A booking photo for Cooley was not available this morning from the Kosciusko County Jail.
Also arrested in the vehicle was Tara Lee Tice, 19, of 877 E. U.S. 6, Ligonier, who was charged with possession of methamphetamine and precursors.[[In-content Ad]]Each suspect's bond amount was set at $2,000.
The Kosciusko County Drug Task Force was assisted by the Warsaw Police, Winona Lake Police and the Kosciusko County Sheriff's Department.
