ROCHESTER - Edwin L. "Bud" Tidd, 79, of 1720 Colonial Drive, Rochester, died at 4:50 p.m. April 17, 2009, at his residence.

He was born Jan. 28, 1930, in Ben Davis, to John and Katherine Lewis Tidd. On March 17, in Laughlin, Nev., he married Shelbie Click who survives.

He was the owner of E.L. Tidd Truck Lines and Executive Coach Leasing. He was a resident of Rochester for the past eight years coming form Stuart, Fla. He was a member of the Family Motorcoach Association.

Also suriving are a daughter, Melanie (and spouse Tom) Knueven, Avon; two sons, Edwin (and spouse Cindy) Tidd, Brownsburg, and Ronald (and spouse Karen) Tidd, Huntington; three grandchildren; four step-children: Kim (and spouse Ron) York, Kokomo; Karla (and spouse Mike) Hack, Peru; Kevin (and spouse Georgetta) Livengood, Muncie; and Kraig (and spouse Dara) Livengood, Mentone; and six step-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a brother.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Good Family Funeral Home, Rochester with Chaplain Jason See officiating.

Calling is one hour prior to the service Thursday at the funeral home.
