NAPPANEE – Edward E. Miller, 76, of 7800 N. 800W, Nappanee, died at 12:45 p.m. Nov. 17, 2013, at his residence.
He was born Aug. 6, 1937, in Marshall County to Emery E. and Fanny Chupp Miller. On March 20, 1958, he married Edna Kuhns, who survives.
He was a retired farmer and a member of the Old Order Amish Church.
Also surviving are three daughters: Ruth Ann Miller, Etna Green; Kathryn Sue Miller and Frieda Mae Miller, both of Nappanee; eight sons: Lloyd E. (and spouse Margaret) Miller, Jacob Lynn (and spouse Clara) Miller, Herman Ray (and spouse Elnora) Miller, Allen Lee (and spouse Elaine) Miller and Ernest Jay (and spouse Carolyn) Miller, all of Etna Green; Aaron E. (and spouse Elaine) Miller, Irvin Dean Miller and Edward Miller Jr., all of Nappanee; 27 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; three sisters: Laura (and spouse John) Slabaugh, Etna Green; Lydia Mae (and spouse Eldon) Stutzman, Warsaw; and Alma Miller, Nappanee; and three brothers: Marvin E.E. (and spouse Lizzie) Miller, Nappanee; Herman (and spouse Ada) Miller and Earl (and spouse Edna) Miller, both of Bourbon. He was preceded in death by a stillborn son, Floyd; grandsons, Jay Dean Miller, Leon Jay Miller and Wyman Lynn Miller; brothers, Raymond and Emery Miller Jr.; and sisters, Mary Ellen Kuhns, Wilma Yoder and Erma Miller.
Services will be at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday at the marvin Miller residence. Home ministry of the Old Order Amish Curch will officiate. Burial will be in Graber Cemetery.
Calling will be after 2 p.m. today and all day Tuesday at the family residence.
