Edna Miller, 93, Kokomo, and formerly of Warsaw, passed away at 4:35 a.m. May 26, 2016, in Golden Living Center, Sycamore Village, Kokomo.
She was born May 16, 1923, in Breathitt County, Ky., to Lige and Mille Shepard Joseph. On Sept. 3, 1938, in Breathitt County, Ky., she was united in marriage to Noah Miller, who preceded her in death Jan. 2, 1997.
She moved to Warsaw from Breathitt County, Kentucky in 1964. She worked for United Technologies, North Manchester, until her retirement in 1986. She was a member of Tippecanoe Baptist Church, Tippecanoe, and also attended New Beginnings Church and World Outreach, Warsaw.
Surviving are four daughters: Christine (and spouse Joe) Justice, Pierceton, Madeline (and spouse Bob) Myers, Fort Wayne, Ruth Poe, North Manchester, Renee Contreras, Warsaw; two sons, Troy (and spouse Georgia) Miller, Kokomo, and Mike (and spouse Linda) Miller, North Manchester; one sister, Elorie Miller, McGuffey, Ohio; one brother, Claude Joseph, McGuffey, Ohio; 15 grandchildren, 32 great-grandchildren and 12 great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; one daughter; three sisters and three brothers.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday in McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw, with Pastor Ron Patrick officiating. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw.
Calling will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Monday in the funeral chapel.
