NORTH MANCHESTER – Edna J. Bitzell, 80, of North Manchester, died at 9:30 p.m. Sept. 30, 2011, in his residence.

She was born Nov. 23, 1930, in Fulton County, to Henry and Glenna Altice Perdue.

She retired after 47 years as office manager at HF Group, formerly Heckman Bindrey, North Manchester. She graduated from Rochester High School in 1949 and was a member of Business & Professional Women, North Manchester. Also surviving are many nieces and nephews.

Surviving are her companion, Thurman Bitzell, North Manchester; two brothers, James (and spouse Joan) Perdue, Rochester, and Steve (and spouse Jane) Perdue, Logansport; three brothers: Donna (and spouse Billy) Tyler, Rochester; Glenda (and spouse Jerry) Flory, Tippecanoe; and Linda Mollencupp, North Manchester. She was preceded in death by a brother and two sisters.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at McKee Mortuary, North Manchester, with Lu Mikesell officiating. Burial will be in Oaklawn Cemetery, North Manchester.

Calling is from 4 to 7 p.m. today at the funeral home.
