Edgewood Class Visits Arby's

The Functional Skills class at Edgewood Middle School learned about on-the-job skills Feb. 16 at Arby's, thanks to owner Bill Aguilar and general manager Chris Polk. The Arby's staff taught the class the necessary means of running a restaurant. The class has completed some diverse projects over the course of the year dealing with survival vocabulary, money, shopping and lifeskills. The field trip to Arby's allowed students to make personal choices, in a possible working environment.
