He is a retired farmer and bus driver for Larwill and Whitko schools.
He and his wife, Thelma, have been married 69 years and are the parents of one son, Steve (and spouse Kathy) Eberly; and five daughters: Anne (and spouse Terry) Walker, Judy (and spouse Larry) Sechrist, Linda (and spouse Bob) Jeffries, Deb (and spouse Kevin) Shoemaker and Jill Eberly.
They also have 14 grandchildren (one deceased), 34-great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren.
A celebration with immediate family will be Saturday. Cards would be appreciated and can be sent to him at 308 W. Mulberry St., South Whitley, IN 46787.
