The Easter musical "At the Name Of Jesus" by Deborah Craig-Claar and Robert Sterling will be presented by the First United Methodist Church Music Ministry in two worship services.

Times are Saturday at 3 p.m. at the church's Connection campus, and Sunday at 9 a.m. at their downtown location.

Word Music, the publisher, describes "At the Name of Jesus" as a fresh musical setting, focusing on the amazing power of Christ to touch hearts and lives with the eternal message of the Gospel. It is a combination of brand new songs and classic titles such as Cindy Berry's choral setting "At the Name of Jesus," Margaret Becker's well-known "Say the Name," and "You Are My All in All" by Dennis Jernigan. The production involves a 42-voice choir, praise team, youth choir, two children's choirs, 15-piece orchestra, three narrators and lots of pageantry.

The Saturday worship service will take the place of the church's usual Sunday 11:07 a.m. service at the Connection. Following the Sunday 9 a.m. service in the sanctuary, brunch will be offered to all in attendance by the Christian education team in the Fellowship Hall.

The public is invited to attend one or both of these events in celebration of the Easter season. The Connection is at 1692 W. Old 30, and the downtown location is 179 S. Indiana St. For more information, call the church office at 574-267-6933.[[In-content Ad]]
