He was born Feb. 23, 1926, in Marion, to Lawrence E. and Ivabelle Halman Grim. On Aug. 8, 1987, he married Deloris Brock, who survives.
He retired from J.C. Pontoons, North Webster.
Also surviving are two stepsons, including Stanley (and spouse Carol) Spaw, Warsaw; a stepdaughter; eight step-grandchildren; 11 step-great-grandchildren; and two step-great-great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by two brothers and two sisters.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at McDonald Funeral Home, LaFontaine, with Pastor Linda McBride officiating. Burial will be in Maple Grove Cemetery, Grant County.
Calling is from 9 a.m. to the time of service Thursday at the funeral home.
