Drug Task Force Executes Warrant

After several months of investigations, the Kosciusko County Drug Task Force secured warrants for 24 people, and with the help of several local law enforcement agencies, arrested 12 suspects for selling, using and manufacturing illegal drugs Wednesday afternoon.

Officers from the Kosciusko County Sheriff's Department, Warsaw Police Department, Pierceton Police Department, Syracuse Police Department, North Webster Police Department and the Kosciusko County S.W.A.T. team served warrants issued by the Kosciusko County Prosecutor's Office for offenses ranging from possession of paraphernalia (a Class C misdemeanor) to dealing methamphetamine (a Class B felony).

Donna Anderson, 50, of 419 Village St., Pierceton, was arrested for allegedly dealing cocaine, a Class B felony. Her bond was set at $10,000.

Also being held on a $10,000 bond is Kyler L. Northrup, 19, of 4849 N. CR 700E, Leesburg. Northrup reportedly was arrested for reckless dealing of paraphernalia, a Class C misdemeanor.

Joshua J. Surface, 32, of 121 S. Scott St., Warsaw, was arrested for allegedly possessing precursors, a Class C felony, and is being held on $5,000 bond.

Heather N. Rutledge, 26, of 5858 N. Second St., Warsaw, was arrested for reportedly dealing marijuana, a Class C felony, and is being held on a $5,000 bond.

Karen Williams, also known as Karen Skaggs, 35, of 9844 E. Starry Eyed Lane, Cromwell, was arrested for allegedly maintaining a common nuisance, possession of marijuana (both Class D felonies) and possession of paraphernalia (a Class C misdemeanor). Her bond was set at $3,000.

Carol L. Smith, 51, of 1137 Lake Shore Drive, Warsaw, was charged with two counts of dealing marijuana, both Class C misdemeanors, and her bond was set at $2,250.

Brandon Eggeson, 26, of 11531 N. Syracuse-Webster Road, Syracuse, was arrested for alleged possession of a schedule II substance, a Class C felony. A schedule II substance is usually cocaine or methamphetamine. Eggeson is being held in the Kosciusko County Jail with a $2,000 bond.

Aaron W. Ring, 21, of 4224 N. Runkle Road, Warsaw, was arrested for reportedly dealing marijuana, a Class D felony, and is being held on $2,000 bond.

Held on a $750 bond, Richard E. Wade, 43, of 4492 E. Armstrong Road, Leesburg, was charged with alleged possession of marijuana, a Class C misdemeanor.

Heather L. Pena, 29, of 403 N. Dolan St., Syracuse, was charged with reported possession of paraphernalia, a Class C misdemeanor. Her bond was set at $450.

Anthony W. Miller, 23, of 1081 Pike Shore Drive, Warsaw, allegedly was arrested on the Class C misdemeanor possession of marijuana with a $450 bond.

Nathan A. Sutton, 19, of 665 Walter Way, Warsaw, was arrested for alleged possession of marijuana, a Class C misdemeanor. He was released on his own recognizance.

Officers have warrants and are still looking for the following people:

• Nathan Gustafson, 25, of 8280 U.S. 30E, Lot 17, Pierceton, alleged possession of a legend drug (Class D felony)

• Kerry L. Kern, 20, of 12453 N. Kern Road, Syracuse, reported theft (Class D felony)

• Russell Bailey, 64, of 202 E. Market St., Pierceton, two counts of allegedly dealing a schedule II substance (Class B felonies)

• Brent E. Hensley, 31, of 12600 Ind. 13S, Lot 27, North Manchester, reported possession of marijuana (Class D felony)

• Marvin Anderson, 34, of 5229 E. Wooster Road, Pierceton, reportedly dealing methamphetamine (Class B felony) and failure to appear (Class D felony)

• Alexander J. Anglemyer, 18, of 507 N. Lake St., Warsaw, allegedly maintaining a common nuisance (Class D felony)

• Steven G. Rourke, 32, of EMS B54 Lane, Warsaw, reported possession of marijuana (Class C misdemeanor)

• Jeremiah E. Smith, 18, of 1137 Lake Shore Drive, Warsaw, allegedly dealing marijuana (Class C misdemeanor)

• William R. Maule II, 19, of 9019 E. Koher Road South, Syracuse, reportedly dealing marijuana (Class C felony)

• Joshua Cone, 24, of 3699 N. CR 175E, Lot 57, Warsaw, alleged possession of marijuana (Class C misdemeanor)

• Cynthia J. Lepper, 51, of 9649 E. CR 1050N, Cromwell, reportedly dealing marijuana and possession of methamphetamine (both Class D felonies)

• April L. Howard, 24, of 3651 N. Barbee Road, Warsaw, alleged possession of a schedule II substance (Class D felony).
