Eddie and Rebecca Drudge, Claypool, announce the engagement of their daughter, Valerie Drudge, Mentone, to Micah Lukens, Akron.
He is the son of Lincoln and Cathie Lukens, Akron.
The bride-to-be is a first grade teacher at Mentone Elementary School.
She graduated from Tippecanoe Valley High School, Mentone, in 2004, and from Manchester University in 2008, where she received a bachelor’s degree. She received a master’s degree from Ball State University in 2013.
The groom-elect is an alternative classroom teacher at Burket Educational Center, Burket.
He graduated from Tippecanoe Valley High School in 1999, and received a bachelor’s degree from DePauw University in 2003.
