'Dream Council' Comes Up With Commitments

The students, making up the middle school “Dream Council,” read, discussed, planned, negotiated, listened and came to consensus.
The result of their planning, preparation and hard work was a statement of four commitments that staff and students at both middle schools will act upon so the mission gets to every seventh- and eighth-grader.
The Dream Council will present its commitments to students and staff and work to implement these four actions.
They committed to bringing in speakers to help connect students to their dreams as well as working toward more course offerings that help students pursue dreams.
They committed to taking action to stop bullying and giving back to the larger community in a variety of ways.[[In-content Ad]]
