Dr. Robert Braman Clark, 93, of Winona Lake, died Aug. 6, 2007, at Kosciusko Community Hospital, Warsaw.

He was born July 2, 1914, in Troy, N.Y., to Charles Fredrick and Charlotte Braman Clark.

On Aug. 29, 1941, he married W. Jane Scott, who died Oct. 28, 2006.

He was pastor in the Presbyterian Church, retiring in 1978. He served in the Austin Church, Chicago, Ill.; First Presbyterian, Carthage, Ill.; First Presbyterian, Portland; North Minster, Columbus, Ohio; First Presbyterian, Madison, Ind.; and First Presbyterian, Noblesville. He taught at Carthage (Ill.) College; received a bachelor's degree from Park College, Kansas City, Mo., and a master's degree and doctorate at McCormick Theological Seminary, Chicago, Ill.

He was a member of Kiwanis Club, Lion's Club and the Mental Health Association, and was one of the founders and a board member of Carthage (Ill.) Hospital. He sat on the board of directors for Peabody Retirement Community, North Manchester; was financial officer for the Indiana Synod of the Presbyterian Church (USA); and was on the board of directors for Englishton Park Retirement Home, Lexington. During World War II he was the personnel director for the USO in Chicago, Ill.

Surviving are a son, Erik Clark, Winona Lake; two daughters, Mrs. Roland (Roberta Clark) Ashby, Dunedin, Fla., and Mrs. Bob (Chris Clark) Morrison, Warsaw; seven grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Dorothy Perkett, Glens Falls, N.Y., and Emley Brown, Lebanon, Ohio. He was preceded in death by a sister.

Services will be at 7 p.m. Saturday at Grace Village Chapel, Winona Lake, with Pastor Ken Lock officiating. Burial will be at a later date in Bay Street Cemetery, Glens Falls, N.Y.

No calling is planned.
