ALBANY - Dorothy Sheller, 84, of Albany, passed away Aug. 27, 2010, at her residence.

She was born April 23, 1926, in Terre Haute, to Arthur and Mildred Fridenmaker, who preceded her in death. She married Harold "Mus" Sheller, who survives.

She attended school in Farmersburg and was a resident of Albany for several years. She was a former member of the American Legion Auxiliary and Moose Lodge. She retired during the mid 1980s after working 30 years for the U.S. Postal Service in Albany.

Also surviving are two sons, Robert (and spouse Debbie) Sheller, Albany, and Bill (and spouse Christy) Sheller, Leesburg; a daughter, Stacey (and spouse Jeff) Morgan, Albany; five grandchildren, Doug and Adam Morgan and Patrick, Caitlinn and Kelsey Sheller; three great-grandchildren, Zachary, Tyler and Alana Morgan; and a special friend, Valerie Nottingham, Albany. She is preceded in death by a brother, John Fridenmaker, and a sister, Rosalee Samm.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Meacham Funeral Service, Albany. Burial will be in Gardens of Memory Cemetery, Muncie.

Calling is from 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday and one hour prior to the service Monday at the funeral home.

Meacham Funeral Service, Albany, is in charge of arrangements.
