She was born June 27, 1921, in Tippecanoe County, to Irvin and Anna Rehwinkle Case. On Nov. 20, 1941, in South Bend, she married Darrell L. Walters, who died Nov. 15, 2009.
She was a 1939 graduate of Mishawaka High School. She was a homemaker. In her earlier years, she worked at Ball Band, Mishawaka.
Surviving are a son, Craig (and spouse Dorothy) Walters, Warsaw; four grandchildren; 12 step-grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren. She also was preceded in death by a son, three sisters and three brothers.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Friday at Bubb Funeral Chapel, Mishawaka, with Chaplain Bryan Benjamin officiating. Entombment will be in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.
Calling is from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday and one hour prior to the service Friday at the funeral home.
