She was born Jan. 17, 1911, in Bourbon, to William Henry and Eldora Emma Stine Montague. On Jan. 25, 1930, in Plymouth, she married Alva L. Sisk, who died Oct. 3, 1959. On April 11, 1961, in Warsaw, she married Robert Black, who died April 9, 2002.
Living most of her live in Warsaw, she was a packer for Little Crow for 10 years, retiring in 1961. She was a member of Order of the Eastern Star 310, New Paris, Ohio; Euchre Club; and Chapman Lake Conservation Club
Surviving are three daughters: Betty Ann Eckert, Sebastian, Fla,; Barbara Lou Brown, Las Vegas, Nev.; and Mary Jane Grubbs, Warsaw; 11 grandchildren: Roy and Michael Eckert, Tina Cook, Steven and Gary Brown, Nancy Nichols, Janet Snedecor, Carmen Curtis and Lance, Kim and Brent Grubbs; 36 great-grandchildren; and 35 great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two sons, Billy and Alva Sisk; four sisters: Bessie Blue, Gertrude Thomas, Alice Griggs and Hazel Whiteman; four brothers: Herman, Marvin, George and Gary "Jack" Montague; four grandchildren: Sharon, Jay and Shaun Eckert and Lucinda Brown; a great-grandchild, Kevin Eckert.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Titus Funeral Home, Warsaw, with the Rev. Terry Bradford, of First Freewill Baptist Church of Kosciusko County, officiating. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery, Plymouth.
Calling is from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
