She was born March 2, 1915, in Michigan, to William Bruno and Viva Bliss Miski. On April 6, 1935, she married John Nelson Gardner Sr., who survives.
She was formerly of Winona Lake, and was executive vice-president at Lambert-Huffman Publishing for 20 years.
Also surviving are a daughter, Mrs. William (Lois) McKinney Jr., North Manchester; two sons, Jack Eugene Gardner, Morganfield, Ky., and John Nelson Gardner Jr., Warsaw; a sister, Mrs. Kenneth (Esther) Kauffman, Columbia City; 13 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a brother and a sister.
No services or calling are planned at this time.
