Doris Ellen Price Sprong, 82, of 310 E. Winona Ave., Warsaw, died at 1:26 p.m. Jan. 6, 2009, in Kosciusko Community Hospital, Warsaw.

She was born Sept. 28, 1926, in Silver Lake, to Herbert and Esther Parker Price.

A lifetime Kosciusko County resident, she worked at Lake City Bank for 10 years and was a special services teller at First National Bank, Warsaw, for 25 years, retiring in 1990. She was a member of Claypool United Methodist Church, Lamplighter Home Economics Club and Warsaw Business and Professional Women. She was an avid baker, cook and gardener.

Surviving are a daughter, Sue (and spouse Bret) Wolf, Warsaw; and two granddaughters, Lori (and spouse Matt) Deeds, Warsaw, and Lisa Wolf, Cincinnati, Ohio. She was preceded in death by her parents; a sister, Bonnie Yotter; and two brothers, Delbert and Richard Price.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw, with Pastor Evelyn Taylor-Haney officiating. Burial will be in Graceland Cemetery, Claypool.

Calling is from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday and one hour prior to the service Saturday at the funeral home.
