Donald Fraley, 82, of Catlettsburg, Ky., and formerly of Warsaw, died Sept. 10, 2007, in King's Daughters Medical Center, Ashland, Ky.

He was born July 19, 1925, in Riceville, Ky., to Burley and Sally Howard Fraley. He married Patricia Jane Johnson, who died Aug. 15, 1961. He married Joanne Roop Peterson, who survives.

He retired from the U.S. Postal Service, Warsaw, and was a World War II Army veteran. He was past commander of the Military Order of the Purple Heart River City 591. He attended Mavity Freewill Baptist Church and Bear Creek United Methodist Church.

Also surviving are two sons, Donald Allen Fraley, South Bend, and Steven Ray Fraley, Warsaw; two stepsons, Nathan Peterson, Mooresville, N.C., and Toby Peterson, Lexington, Ky.; a daughter, Tanya N. Gillette, Warsaw; two sisters, Jewel Hackworth, Cannonsburg, Ky., and Glema Blade, Hillsboro, Ohio; five grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by three brothers, Clyde and Connard Fraley and Phillip "Buddy" Blevins; and two sisters, Georgia Aldridge and Phyllis Blevins.

Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Titus Funeral Home, Warsaw. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw.

Calling is from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
