Donald F. Wiley Sr., 88, of 815 E. Fort Wayne St., Warsaw, died at 9:36 a.m. April 5, 2007, in his residence.

He was born Oct. 25, 1918, in Hammond, to John H. and Rose Culbertson Wiley. On March 20, 1941, he married Maxine Ann Scott, who died in 1993.

A lifetime resident of Kosciusko County, he was chief industrial engineer for Jo Mac Glove Co., retiring in 1983. He was the owner of Wiley Engineering Consultants and Wiley Realty. He attended Warsaw Community Church. He was a World War II veteran. He was a member of American Legion Post 49, Warsaw.

Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Jeff (Vicki) Shepherd and Mrs. Douglas (Barbara) Sledge, both of Leesburg; three sons, Donald F. (and wife Phyllis) Wiley Jr., Auburn; Bill (and wife Sheila) Wiley, Victora, Texas; and Scott H. (and wife Debra) Wiley, Warsaw; a brother, Richard Wiley, Fort Wayne; 18 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by two brothers.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw, with Pastor Jeff Pfeifer officiating. Burial with military honors will be at Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw.

Calling is from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday and one hour prior to services Tuesday at the funeral home.
